As one of Northlands leading civil contractors, we are experts in civil engineering, industrial infrastructure, roading and pavements and water infrastructure. We have created a strong reputation for quality, innovation and the successful delivery of large-scale, often complex civil engineering infrastructure projects.
- Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, hours are typically between 7am and 5pm.
- $90K to $130K depending on experience.

Role requirements:
Bachelor degree in civil engineering OR 5 years of relevant experience as a Project Engineer or related role.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Provide advice on construction methodologies and testing for various types of work, risk and opportunity identification, technical support and programme efficiency.
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of construction plans and programmes including accountability of outcomes / improvements, recommendations, evaluation and reporting.
- Keep accurate administration, record collection, analysis and filing, control of documents.
- Develop, implement, and maintain various management plans (e.g., CMP, including CQP with ITP, EMP, HSP).
- Day to on site management, supervision and quality control of the physical works.
- Commercial manage costs, budgets, claims and payments, procurement, estimates and va programme mai understanding standard forms of conditions of contract (typically, but not always NZS3910) and the rights and obligations of the parties.
- Effectively communicate to all stakeholders (internal and external).
- Maintain schedules and planning to meet objectives for projects including monitoring and review of project performance.
- Manage consent approvals for projects.
- Assist the project manager in ensuring that all assigned construction projects are completed in a timely manner and meet or improve on budget.
