Design in-charge Bespoke Projects
Responsibilities:
Understand client briefs and present them to Creative Director / Studio Head.
Based on their recommendations, conceptualize the designs independently or with artists as required, then create mood boards to match the design vision.
Select techniques and launch samples in consultation with team.
Prepare and verify all the necessary information to determine the costing.
Source materials and fabrics and update the library on a regular basis.
Handing over the orders to production and in consultation with the team, set a timeline for the completion of the project
Co-ordinate with external vendors and co-ordinate on-site Installation of the projects as required
Requirements:
Background in design with a knowledge of or an exposure to hand embroidery.
Prior design experience with textile/home furnishing companies/design studios.
Creative, imaginative, artistic, with an eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp or similar design software.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Tamil or Hindi would be a plus.
